Table of Contents AuctionsOn the first Saturday of each month and the fourth Tuesday of each month we conduct uncatalogued auctions where members bring along material they wish to sell. Members should be aware lot numbers must be obtained prior to the day of the auction. Auctions are open to members and non-members, however non-members will be charged 10% commission on any purchases. Generally, on the first Saturday in April, July and November we conduct a Catalogued auction. Sale of Deceased Estates etcWe have a team of experienced philatelists who may be able to assist with the sale of stamp collections from deceased estates. We also have a ready market for collections that are no longer required – nothing is too big or too small! Displays / ExhibitionsSeveral of our members are judges in philatelic exhibitions and can provide advice on preparing an entry for exhibition. Beginners are also provided with information on starting a collection. Exchange (Circuit) BooksExchange sheets are a “bundled” lot of A4 sheets containing philatelic items for sale by our members. Items for sale are individual or sets of stamps, covers, minisheets etc. and can be a great way to get rid of your unwanted excess items. The sheets provided are collated into books and passed from participating member to member within a “circuit” (close geographical location). We have circuits supporting Melbourne Metro, and Country Victoria (not all locations). All members can participate in this process.
